Cedric David Scientist, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology

Dr. Cédric H. David received the Diplôme d’Ingénieur from École Centrale de Lille, Lille, France, in 2004, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, USA, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. He joined NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA, in 2014, where he is a Research Scientist. His research interests include observation, simulation, and data assimilation of the terrestrial water cycle at continental to global scales, with a particular focus on river dynamics, satellite hydrology, high-performance scientific computing, and open-source scientific software. Cédric received NASA’s Early Career Public Achievement Medal in 2018.
