Isobel leads Cambridge Consultants’ activities in Biodiversity and Nature Tech. From climate change to land use, unsustainable resource use to pollution, Isobel is passionate about the potential for technology to address the underlying causes of biodiversity loss.

Isobel also leads Cambridge Consultants’ Tech for Good initiative: making the world a better place by developing deep tech and providing expert technical guidance.

She originally trained as a Physicist, gaining a first-class Masters degree from Durham University. She worked as an Engineering Physicist and technical project lead at Cambridge Consultants across multiple industries for 6 years, resulting in being a named inventor on a range of patents, before focussing on innovation for sustainability. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate with Distinction in Biodiversity, Wildlife and Ecosystem Health from the University of Edinburgh.
