Daquanna Harrison is the founder of Elevation Educational Consulting Group (EECG), which elevates the effectiveness of educators, workforce professionals, and organizations by bringing together talented experts to strengthen systems and elevate people. EECG creates educator trainings and develops programs for alternative/adult education and career development. Currently, EECG is developing a leadership program for non-traditional educators and plans for it to become a certificate in Educational Leadership.

Daquanna provides strategic direction for youth and adult programs. Her skills include: evaluating and creating curriculum and learning tools; developing, implementing, and managing educational programs; cultural competency, leadership, and teacher training.

Daquanna is the President of MAACCE Board of Directors and on the T.E.A.C.H Advisory Board with NBCDI providing guidance on scholarships for early-childhood educators. A proud Tech-Geek, she judges the SIIA CODiE Awards, reviewing education, workforce, and college/career readiness technologies.

Daquanna is an alumna of Howard, American, and Duke Universities. She completed the Education Policy Fellowship Program from the Institute for Educational Leadership and the MD Equity and Inclusion Leadership Program by the University of Baltimore. Proudly from the Gullah Islands of South Carolina, she resides in Prince George’s County where she was recognized as 40 Under 40 for Excellence in Education.
