Prior to founding Get Schooled, Carol was an executive with Seattle Public Schools leading a system-wide performance management effort. Earlier in her career, she had a variety of leadership roles in advocacy, communications and program for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's advocacy and education teams over eight years. She is an avid exerciser, reader and cook, and a mom to three (two of whom are consumers of the status quo higher education system).
