Peter Hague holds a PhD in astrophysics at the University of Leicester, where he studied dark matter and the galaxy rotation problem. He has done research in galaxy dynamics at the Institute for Computational Cosmology at the University of Durham and ratio interferometry at the Cavendish Laboratory at Cambridge University. He currently works as a scientific software engineer in Cambridge and is an independent space industry analyst, publishing at planetocracy.org.

Peter is active in the UK space startup community and is lobbying the government to increase its role in space, recently launching the Penny For Space campaign at pennyforspace.org.
