Lawyer, Specialist in Senior Management from the University of Medellin, Master in Sustainable Development Management from the Universidad Externado de Colombia in Bogota, Senior Management Program PADE that belongs to the Executive Education Unit of INALDE Business School with studies on gender, diversity, and inclusion, currently is the Strategy and Innovation Senior Director, at The Global FoodBanking Network- GFN, responsible for the climate strategy, which includes a focus on food loss and waste prevention, methane mitigation and climate change adaptation from a nutrition perspective; and data and technology as an enabler and accelerator of the strategy.

A senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in administrative, financial, and legal management of public and private organizations at local, national, and international levels, coordinating and executing social, environmental, and economic projects with an emphasis on poverty, extreme poverty, and food security, from a government, business, and third sector perspective. For the past 13 years, she has worked on preventing and reducing food loss and waste and its impact on climate change and hunger. She has participated as an expert in different scenarios with partners from the private sector, the UN system, and various governments. Through her leadership at GFN, she helped distribute over 3 billion pounds of food, providing nutritious meals to millions of food-insecure individuals. Her work in food loss and waste prevention has been crucial in preserving the nutritional value of rescued food, and ensuring that vulnerable populations receive high-quality, nutrient-dense meals.
